Keep Your Voice
Working for You

Thank you for spending session one with us. Here is everything you'll want over the next few weeks, including a look ahead at having a tool schedule your posts for you.

Keep your voice guide where you can find it

Copy your voice guide into a Google Doc or Word file if you haven't already. Session two uses it as an uploaded file, and having your own copy also means you can share it with anyone who writes or posts for your business.

Try the one-page overview

If you didn't get to the stretch goal, open the chat where you built your voice guide and paste in this prompt, adding your brand colors at the end.

Using my voice guide and everything I've shared in this conversation, build a one-page visual overview of my business that I could show a new customer, a lender or a sponsor. Use my brand colors (listed below), open with what customers value most about working with us, and keep the language in my voice.

Want a tool to schedule your posts for you?

This was one of the most common requests in the pre-workshop survey, and session two covers it in depth. If you'd like to look ahead, here is what each tool can do today.

On any free plan. Ask your tool to draft the week's posts using your voice guide, then paste them into a free scheduler. Meta Business Suite handles Facebook and Instagram at no cost, and Buffer's free plan covers three channels, including LinkedIn and Google Business Profile.

ChatGPT (free). ChatGPT can run a request on a schedule, such as drafting your posts every Monday morning, and send you the results. Free accounts can keep up to three of these scheduled tasks, and you still move the drafts into your scheduler yourself.

Gemini (free). Gemini's scheduled actions work the same way, with up to ten at a time. Google is still rolling the feature out to personal accounts, and it requires Keep Activity to be turned on, which allows Google to use your conversations to improve its products.

Claude Pro ($20 a month). Claude can run a scheduled task each week and, once you connect a free Buffer account, place the drafted posts directly in your Buffer queue for you to review and approve. This is the closest option to an assistant that handles the whole job.

Whichever route you choose, review every post before it goes live. These tools are good at drafting, and you're still the one who knows whether a job is actually finished or a promotion is still running.

Anthropic offers two free short courses that complement this series. Claude 101 covers one tool in depth, and AI Fluency teaches skills that carry over to any tool.

See you at session two

Session two is Tuesday, November 17. Bring your voice guide, and the details will post here once they're confirmed.
